Willow's litter by Runner was whelped on July 7, 2010 and includes 6 boys and 1 girl, all yellow Labrador Retrievers. Some of these pups will hopefully grow up to become ICAN assistance dogs. Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) brings together three uncommon groups - children and adults with disabilities, incarcerated adults, and dogs - to assist people in living their lives more productively and with increased independence. Willow has checked in
Pregnant Willow a few days prior to whelping. Not fun being pregnant during the heat of summer. She is not as big as she was for her first litter, but still carrying lots of pups.
Pregnant Willow holding down the floor, savoring the cool tile.
Willow's date was the handsome AM/CAN CH Dovetails Walk Not Run aka "Runner" who has sired other ICAN pups and pups for another assistance dog program.
